Actress and model Carmen Electra has become the latest high profile figure to select platinum as her precious metal of choice.

At an awards show in Las Vegas some time back, Carmen Electra appeared in 950 Platinum jewellery by Neil Lane.
She not only wore a rare platinum and diamond long chain necklace, but also accessorised it with a pair of platinum and diamond drop earrings.

The star also wore the platinum set while attending the 2006 VSDA Awards, aimed at the DVD video industry.
