Carmen Electra has a new passion now… performing on stage… after her amazing backstage ‘performance’ with Joan Jett the other night, she might just be performing with ex-hubby Dave Navarro this time….

I’m serious guys… it’s gonna be an on-screen performance and they’re not gonna be alone… Janet Jackson, the Killers, Gwen Stefani, the Fray, Mary J. Blige and Ludacris featuring Pharrell and Young Jeezy will be the other performers while Bowling For Soup, Carrie Underwood, Flavor Flav, Three 6 Mafia, the cast of ‘High School Musical,’ Celine Dion, Rihanna, Chris Brown and ‘American Idol’ alums Katharine McPhee and Chris Daughtry will make appearances for the 2006 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS on 4th December…

So if Joan Jett’s performance can make Carmen give her such a smoochy thank you, imagine what would be the case with Dave Navarro?!?!?

Carmen Electra’s popularity seems to be on an all time low huh… dunno the reason for the plunge though… she’s even been flashing her firecrotch recently!!! Well maybe people were too busy to acknowledge her at that point of time or something but she was spotted at popping in and out of a few stores along pricey Melrose Place without much of a problem… however hard she tried to grab some attention, she was not one bit successful…

On the other hand, the ‘Dreamgirl’ babe Beyonce Knowles was spotted shopping at NYC at Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue Monday. Within no time, an enormous crowd of people gathered around the store and made it almost impossible for her to move out!!! It was only after her car arrived and some security was arranged that she came out and stuffed the rear of the car with her truckload of shopping bags and fled…

Doesn’t that sound a bit weird…A Mouse and a Bird falling in love…Well Carmen Electra’s ex-husband Dave Navarro used to call her Mouse and she used to call him Bird (shouldn’t that be the other way round).

After two and a half years of marriage Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro are parting their ways.

He called her “Mouse,” she called him “Bird.” She helped him quit smoking (or tried to, anyway) and he got her initials tattooed on his chest.”

They had met through a mutual friend in 2000, and also suffered a common loss: Navarro’s mother was murdered by a boyfriend in 1983 and Electra’s died of brain cancer in 1998.

“They’re both heartbroken, but they still love each other,” says the source. “The reality of it is that they’re better off as best friends.”

They are splitting amicably and that according to Navarro means,

“… that Carmen and I love each other, we are and always will be best friends,” he writes. “In fact, we are supporting each other through this time. What better way to get through a tough spot than with your best friend?”
