Actress and model Carmen Electra has become the latest high profile figure to select platinum as her precious metal of choice.

At an awards show in Las Vegas some time back, Carmen Electra appeared in 950 Platinum jewellery by Neil Lane.
She not only wore a rare platinum and diamond long chain necklace, but also accessorised it with a pair of platinum and diamond drop earrings.

The star also wore the platinum set while attending the 2006 VSDA Awards, aimed at the DVD video industry.

Actress, model rapper and ex-pussycat doll Carmen Electra is now one of those most popular celebrites who are now promoting platinum as their precious metal of choice.

Carmen came out stunning many a man and also women wearing 950 Platinum jewellery by Neil Lane.

Added to that she wore a rare platinum and diamond long chain necklace. And if that’s not enough she used accessories like a pair of platinum and diamond drop earrings and others.

She was attending the 2006 VSDA Awards, aimed at the DVD video industry. Sexy Carmen Electra though known for her breast implants and now for her broken marriage with Dave Navarro, joins the list of few who promote Platinum. Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon , Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron and Madonna already top the list.

Actress Carmen Electra the pussycat doll has been named “Rising Female Star of the Year” by the home entertainment industry and will receive the recognition at VSDA’s Home Entertainment 2006 during the Awards Show on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from 8:30 to 10:00 PM. The annual convention for the home entertainment industry takes place July 11-13, 2006 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Carmen Electra’s dynamic image and personality defines what it means to be a Rising Star in the entertainment industry,” said Bo Andersen, President of the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA), which is presenting VSDA’s Home Entertainment 2006. “Electra has the unique ability to expand her career into multiple areas. She enjoys success as a musician, actress, television host, and performer and her career is undeniably in its ascendancy.”

It’s good that the award function is just after the World-cup final. I bet our Bombshell babe Carmen Electra will be at her best to the awards show. I surely won’t miss this.
